We are Amanda Eriksson and John Strandvall. We moved into our small farm, Gård Syrenbacken, in the autumn of 2020. We are now starting to achieve our dreams of running a farm in the countryside with its charming features. In early 2021 we started our own rural business and today we have animals, a farm café and a charming little farm museum.
Come and meet our happy animals, stroll around the farm museum, grab something to eat and drink in our farm café or enjoy a tasty Jurmo burger in the garden.
On site you will also find concrete figures and home-baked goods from Annika’s Home Bakery, handicraft sales, activities for children such as tractor safaris, hobby horse jumping, straw jumping and much more.
Horse-drawn carriage and horse tools exhibition. See the old and beautiful carriages and implements that used to be pulled by horses. Also accessories such as old harnesses, driving heads, etc. can be seen in our museum. All wagons and tools have descriptions of what they are and how they were used. Free admission to our museum.
Sat & Sun at 12 – 5 pm
We at Syrenbacken wish you all a warmly welcome!
