It’s hard not to notice Sjökvarteret; the Maritime Quarter on the eastern side of Mariehamn. Experience a vibrant marine environment with all kinds of forging and crafts, boat building, a museum and much more! During the harvest festival a number of market vendors gather with local food and products for sale.
Pub Niska serves tin bread, and in the Maritime Quarter there are various sales such as crafts from SALT, jewellery from Guldviva, sea buckthorn products, lamb and sheep products, honey and several processed products. At the Motor Museum, the Åland Energy & Maritime Technical Association keeps hot-bulb engines running.
